The Heartwork of Cor & Kin

I didn’t set out to build a business.
I set out to build a space I couldn’t find.

A space where leadership didn’t mean performance.
Where purpose wasn’t reduced to a job title.
Where we could show up — fully human, still becoming — and be met with both challenge and care.

Cor & Kin was born out of that longing.

Across every space I’ve worked in — education, nonprofits, higher ed, corporate — I’ve learned something about leadership. But I’ve also carried something with me. A way of showing up that didn’t quite fit the mold, but made people pause and say, “That’s different.”

It wasn’t about being louder or having the right title.
It was about being intentional. Rooted. Brave in relationship.
It was about bringing people together with care, asking real questions, and making space for growth — mine and theirs.

And over time, people started asking me how.
How I coach, how I lead, how I build teams, how I stay aligned.
That’s when I realized: this way of leading is teachable. It’s shareable. And it’s needed.

The "Cor" in Cor & Kin

Cor means heart in Latin. And this work is exactly that — heartwork.

It’s the messy, meaningful process of knowing yourself deeply, living in alignment with what matters, and leading from that place.

At Cor & Kin, we don’t rush that process. We honor it.
We make space for the real questions. The brave ones.
We offer coaching tools, reflections, and frameworks — not to fix people, but to help them return to themselves.

And the "Kin"?

Kin is about connection. Relationship. Community.
It speaks to kinship — whether given, chosen, or a mix of both.

Because we don’t do this work alone — and we’re not meant to.

I’ve always loved creating spaces for reflection and connection — spaces where people feel seen, stretched, and supported.
Cor & Kin is that kind of space. And it’s built on the belief that leadership is relational. That how we show up in conversation, in conflict, in collaboration — that’s leadership too.

This is a space for...

  • Young adults asking, “Who am I becoming?”

  • Leaders wondering, “How do I stay rooted in my values when the system says otherwise?”

  • Changemakers trying to do good work without burning out or losing themselves along the way.

It’s a space for reflection, not perfection.
For values, not just goals.
For courage, not certainty.
