This is a space for the heart-led, the purpose-seekers, the leaders doing the quiet, hard work that rarely gets witnessed.
Cor & Kin was built for the moments when you're doing your best — and still feeling like something is off. When the work matters, but the way you're carrying it doesn't reflect who you actually are.
We're here for the in-between. For the season when clarity feels out of reach. For the return.
Meet Charlotte
Changemaker • Facilitator • Listener • Community Builder
Hi, I'm Charlotte — educator, purpose coach, social impact leader, and founder of Cor & Kin.
I’ve spent nearly two decades working alongside leaders in schools, nonprofits, corporations, and communities — designing programs that center belonging, strengthening values-driven leadership, and helping people find clarity in complexity.
I hold degrees from Oberlin College and Yale University, and I’ve built and led initiatives within some of the most respected institutions and organizations in the world.
And here’s what I’ve learned personally about leadership:
Even the most purpose-driven leaders lose the thread sometimes. I did.
After years of doing meaningful work — and watching other leaders do the same — I kept circling back to one question:
Where do leaders go to be held?
We hold space for our teams, our families, our communities. We move through systems not built for our values. We lead with conviction — often without anyone holding that same space for us.
Over time, I began to see how urgency can quietly pull leaders away from themselves.
That realization reshaped how I led.
Cor & Kin began as my own return — to reflection, to alignment, to what matters most. What started as a quiet need became a clear calling: to create spaces where leaders can slow down, root deeply, and build leadership that lasts.
What I bring to every space:
The ability to listen deeply — and hold space without rushing to solutions
A steady presence in moments of transition or tension
A gift for building authentic community where people feel seen and invited to show up fully
A lens that centers care, equity, and purpose — in real, tangible ways
Cor & Kin is the offering of my heart — and I’m honored to walk alongside you in the heartwork of leadership.
Our Story
Cor & Kin was born from a belief that leadership isn't about titles, hustle, or performance. It's about who you are at your core — and how you choose to show up in the world.
Everything we offer — from digital tools and coaching to circles and gatherings — is built on one conviction:
Leadership that is rooted in reflection, fueled by purpose, and held in community changes not just how we work — but how we live.
This is leadership that begins within — from the Cor — and grows outward through connection, accountability, and care.
The Meaning Behind The Name
Cor comes from the Latin word for heart. It reminds us that purpose-driven leadership begins within: with honesty, integrity, and deep alignment to self.
Kin speaks to kinship. To community. To connection. To the relationships — given, chosen, or built — that shape how we live, lead, and create impact. Leadership doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s held in kinship — with others, with the earth, and with the generations we’re shaping through our work.
Together, Cor & Kin is an invitation to lead with both heart and humanity.
What We Believe
We believe self-awareness is not a luxury — it's a leadership imperative. That reflection and rigor can coexist. That you can be thoughtful and strategic, grounded and effective, all at once.
We believe service rooted in urgency collapses. That the most sustainable leadership begins not with doing more, but with getting clear — about what's yours to carry, and what isn't.
We believe brave spaces make more room for truth, trust, and transformation than any performance review or strategic plan ever will. And that the most meaningful leadership is built not from striving, but from honest, courageous return — to yourself, to your values, to what matters most.
And we believe you don't have to hold it all alone. Community is not a bonus. It's how we endure.
The Cor Framework™
Our foundation is the Cor Framework™ — a cyclical, reflection-based model for leading from the inside out. Four pillars. No hierarchy. You return to each one as your life and season demand.
Root — Know Yourself. Clarity about values, identity, and what truly matters.
Align — Live Your Values. Decisions that reflect your priorities, not just your pressure.
Extend — Lead in Relationship. Honest, courageous connection with the people you lead and love.
Sustain — Honor the Long Game. Rhythms and boundaries that protect your capacity over time.
This work is cyclical, not linear. It's about returning — again and again — with clarity and care.
Whether you’re planting new roots, navigating change, or learning how to lead in alignment — there’s space for you here.
You don't have to figure it all out before you begin.
