About Cor & Kin

This is a space for the heart-led, the purpose-seekers, the emerging and evolving leaders.

Cor & Kin was created to offer accessible, affirming spaces where your values, voice, and vision can take root. Whether your leadership shows up in a classroom, a boardroom, a community space, or the quiet corners of daily life — you deserve support that honors your full humanity. We help purpose-driven people slow down, reflect deeply, and lead with courage that lasts.

Through guided reflection, intentional tools, and brave spaces for learning, we help you lead in alignment — and grow in ways that sustain you for the long haul.

Whether you're stepping into your purpose, navigating change, or trying to lead with integrity in complex spaces, you don’t have to do it alone.

This is the heartwork of leadership, held in community.

Welcome

Our Story

The heartwork of leadership, held in community.

Cor & Kin was born from a belief that leadership isn’t about titles, hustle, or performance. It’s about who you are at your core — and how you choose to show up in the world.

After nearly two decades in social impact and community engagement, I kept circling back to the same question:
Where do leaders go to be held?

We hold space for our teams, our families, our communities.
We move through systems not built for our values.
We lead with conviction — and often in isolation.

Cor & Kin began as my own return — to reflection, to alignment, to heart. What started as a quiet need became a powerful calling: to create spaces for leaders to slow down, root deeply, and lead with intention that lasts.

Everything we offer — from courses and coaching to circles and gatherings — is built around this belief:

Leadership that is rooted in reflection, fueled by purpose, and held in community changes not just how we work… but how we live.

This is leadership that begins within — from the Cor — and grows outward through connection, accountability, and care.

You don’t need to do more.
You just need space to come home to who you are.

The Meaning Behind The Name

Cor comes from the Latin word for heart.
It reminds us that purpose-driven leadership begins within: with honesty, integrity, and deep alignment to self.

We use the Cor Framework™ — a four-part model rooted in identity, values, relationships, and sustainability — to guide people back to their inner clarity and sense of purpose.

Kin speaks to kinship.
To community. To connection. To the relationships — given, chosen, or built — that shape how we live, lead, and create impact. Leadership doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s held in kinship — with others, with the earth, and with the generations we’re shaping through our work.

Together, Cor & Kin is an invitation to lead with both heart and humanity.

What We Believe

At Cor & Kin, we believe leadership isn’t just what you build — it’s how you return to who you are, again and again.

Our work is rooted in reflection, shaped by values, and designed to help you lead with clarity, courage, and care. We hold space for the messy middle — where truth lives, where growth happens, and where the most meaningful leadership takes root.

We believe:

  • Self-awareness is not a luxury — it’s a leadership imperative.

  • Reflection and rigor can coexist.

  • Growth doesn’t require perfection — but it does require presence.

  • Leadership is not just about what you build, but how you sustain yourself and your people along the way.

  • Brave spaces make more room for truth, trust, and transformation.

  • Values-aligned leadership isn’t soft — it’s sustainable.

  • You don’t have to hold it all alone.

This is the heartwork. This is the path back to the cor.
And this is your invitation to lead differently — from the inside out.

The Cor Framework™

Our foundation is the Cor Framework™ — a cyclical, reflection-based approach to leadership.

4-Pillars of the Cor Famework:

  • Root — Know Yourself

  • Align — Live Your Values

  • Extend — Lead in Relationship

  • Sustain — Honor the Long Game

Every journal, coaching session, course, and gathering is built on these pillars. We don’t teach from a mountaintop — we reflect alongside you.

This work is cyclical, not linear. It’s about returning to yourself, again and again, with clarity and care.

Meet Charlotte

Changemaker • Facilitator • Listener • Community Builder

Hi, I’m Charlotte — educator, purpose coach, social impact leader, and founder of Cor & Kin.

I bring nearly two decades of experience in values-driven leadership and community engagement, designing and guiding programs that center belonging, transformation, and meaningful connection. My work has spanned youth development, K–12 and higher education, corporate social responsibility, volunteerism, community impact, and the nonprofit sector — always grounded in the belief that leadership is most powerful when it reflects our values and relationships.

I hold degrees from Oberlin College and Yale University, where I deepened my commitment to equity, reflection, and purpose-driven leadership. Over the years, I’ve built and led initiatives for some of the most respected institutions and companies in the world — experiences that shaped how I hold space, build trust, and move vision into action. Whether mentoring young changemakers or guiding large-scale community impact strategies, my work has always been about listening deeply, responding to real needs, and helping others do the same.

Along the way, I’ve discovered something simple but profound:

Brave, reflective, values-rooted spaces are what make lasting impact possible.

They’re where clarity emerges.
Where alignment begins.
Where transformation takes root — not just in individuals, but in communities, teams, and the systems we hope to change.

Cor & Kin is the offering of my heart.
A space where leadership is less about performance, and more about presence. Where reflection, clarity, and purposeful action are honored as essential parts of how we show up. Where the work begins from within — and is sustained in community.

My approach blends coaching, guided reflection, strategic visioning, and collective learning. It’s less about fixing, more about unfolding. Less about external performance, more about internal clarity. Always held in a brave space — where honesty is welcomed, identities are honored, and growth is grounded in practice, not perfection.

What I bring to every space:
• The ability to listen deeply and hold space without rushing to solutions
• A steady hand in moments of transition or tension
• A gift for building authentic community where people feel seen and invited to show up fully
• A lens that centers care, equity, and purpose — in real, tangible ways

I believe leadership is deeply personal — and deeply communal.
And I’m honored to walk alongside you.
